This is what I don’t get about today’s “Discount” stores, and throwing swap meets and garage sales here in SoCal in that lot as well. Everyone wants full blown retail for everything regardless of condition or not being a current model etc.
As the Hot Deals section demonstrates, the cheapest time to buy something is when the main big box store still has it, either on clearance or a normal sale with coupon stacking etc. Additionally you still get the full manufacturer’s warranty, a generous return policy, and an item in perfect new condition generally.
For the above tools, they were cheaper than this price at Sears virtually all last year when they still had them, as well as at Ace Hardware during their yearly 50% off coupon. Then the discount store gets them and back to full MSRP they go.

Absolutely. Information = power.
Lots of people think they are getting a great deals, like when Sears are closing and everything are 20% 30% discounted, but they did not know that you can get them cheaper online.
