Sausage & Cheese on Party Rye Bread

I’ve been making these Hanky Panky Appetizers for years. Someone brought these to a tailgate and they disappeared in no time! I got the recipe and I’ve been making them ever since. They are easy to make and go over well at a party. They are equally delicious for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. I like to eat them for dinner with a baked potato or bowl of chili. Add this recipe to your menu. It is sure to become a favorite!

How to Make Hanky Panky Appetizers

These individual appetizers are SUPER easy to make with only a few simple ingredients. In a large skillet, cook pork sausage over medium-high heat until crumbled and no longer pink. Drain excess fat. Add Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and Velveeta cheese. Stir just until combined. Spread the meat mixture onto co*cktail rye bread slices. Place the bread on a baking sheet and place under the oven broiler until golden brown. Garnish with parsley, if desired.
