Your Impact:

Must be knowledgeable of and experienced in the formulation and execution of organizational training programs for intelligence organizations. Must have experience in the formulation, assessment, and execution of training requirements and alternatives (platform instruction, distance learning, blended training, interactive multimedia instruction). Must have experience in development of requisite training materials, products, and documentation. Must be capable of instructing personnel from prepared course material. Must be available to travel to various training locations. Must have strong written and oral communication skills.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

  1. TS/SCI Clearance.

  2. Minimum six years' of cumulative management and operational experience/education for an accredited college with at least one assignment supporting contingency operations within the past 10 years.

  3. 70% of the total JCHATC instructors are analysts; 20% are MSO Category 2 certified and 10% are counterintelligence certified.

Instructors must demonstrate satisfactory proficiency for all tasks and sub-tasks on which students in their respective courses will be evaluated.

Instructors must apply advanced instructional methods and adult learning models to training during platform instruction, small group instruction, individual instruction, long distance learning, mentorship, and coaching.

Instructors will provide research support to students during performance-based practical exercise planning and preparation time.

Tasks

  • Validate known intelligence with data from other sources.
  • Gather, analyze, correlate, or evaluate information from a variety of resources, such as law enforcement databases.
  • Prepare comprehensive written reports, presentations, maps, or charts based on research, collection, and analysis of intelligence data.
  • Study activities relating to narcotics, money laundering, gangs, auto theft rings, terrorism, or other national security threats.
  • Collaborate with representatives from other government and intelligence organizations to share information or coordinate intelligence activities.
  • Evaluate records of communications, such as telephone calls, to plot activity and determine the size and location of criminal groups and members.
  • Gather intelligence information by field observation, confidential information sources, or public records.
  • Link or chart suspects to criminal organizations or events to determine activities and interrelationships.
  • Study the assets of criminal suspects to determine the flow of money from or to targeted groups.
  • Design, use, or maintain databases and software applications, such as geographic information systems (GIS) mapping and artificial intelligence tools.
  • Predict future gang, organized crime, or terrorist activity, using analyses of intelligence data.
  • Establish criminal profiles to aid in connecting criminal organizations with their members.
  • Gather and evaluate information, using tools such as aerial photographs, radar equipment, or sensitive radio equipment.
  • Interview, interrogate, or interact with witnesses or crime suspects to collect human intelligence.
  • Study communication code languages or foreign languages to translate intelligence.
  • Develop defense plans or tactics, using intelligence and other information.
  • Prepare plans to intercept foreign communications transmissions.
  • Operate cameras, radios, or other surveillance equipment to intercept communications or document activities.

  • Law and Government - Knowledge of laws, legal codes, court procedures, precedents, government regulations, executive orders, agency rules, and the democratic political process.
  • Communications and Media - Knowledge of media production, communication, and dissemination techniques and methods. This includes alternative ways to inform and entertain via written, oral, and visual media.
