Ingredients
- 5 soft dates pitted or use other sweetener of choice
- 1.5 cups (21 g) almond milk ice cubes or other non dairy milk
- 2 tsp vegan chocolate chips
- 2 tbsp my cookie dough
- 1/2 cup (125 g) almond milk or other non dairy milk
- 1/2 tsp (0.5 tsp) vanilla extract
- cookie dough rolled into small balls for serving
Instructions
Freeze the almond milk in an ice cube tray for an hour or longer. Soak the dates for atleast 15 mins in hot water.
Add the ice cubes and pitted soaked dates to a blender. Add the rest of the ingredients and blend until smooth and creamy. The chocolate chips will break up into tiny pieces that make the shake look chunky. You can blend further to combine or serve as is with the tiny chocolate chunks.
Pour into a glass. Add cookie dough balls on top and serve!
Notes
Add a frozen banana or more cookie dough to the shake for thicker consistency.
Quick Cookie dough, also nut-free: make a quick cookie dough with about 1 cup of oat flour + few Tbsp maple syrup + 1/2 tsp vanilla extract + chocolate chips. Or use this recipe

My grandfather just passed a week ago. He loved Dairy Queen. Before I was vegan we would stop occasionally. I would always get a cookie dough, and he would get a half and half flavored one. I made this today in his honor. Thanks for this.

I just made this, and I LOVE IT!! My cookie dough is much darker in color than yours, the only difference I think. Probably because I used all brown sugar. It’s super tasty though and it satisfies all my chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream cravings, and I didn’t even have to go to the store to buy any. Thank you!

Seems awesome <3 ! Does it works if I just put milk and not ice cubes ? To make more like a smoothie ?

It won’t become a blizzard but will be a milkshake

Thank you Jesus…finally a shake withOUT bananas!! Hahahaha! I hate bananas (they make me gag unfortunately) and every stinkin recipe I see day in and day out is full of bananas! It overpowers every other flavor, so THANK YOU! I bow down! I love all the ingredients!
