HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) – High pressure is still in control over the entire region, allowing for lots of sun, and continued southerly winds driving excessively hot temperatures het again for the 6th day in a row. With slightly increased energy in our atmosphere, as well as slightly increased moisture, we’ll be looking at the development of an isolated thunderstorm this afternoon and into the evening. No severe weather will be expected with this, but an isolated gusty storm will be possible. Better chances of these storms will exist in the mountains.
