Lake City, Minnesota Bobbette Rainwater 1932 — 2024 Bobbette Bishop Rainwater passed away peacefully on March 19, 2024 in Lake City, Minnesota. She was born on August 5, 1932 to Ira and Mildred Bishop in Red Oak, Iowa. Bobbe graduated from Red Oak High School in 1950 and later met a future engineer named Dan D. Rainwater. She and Dan married in 1952 and started a family. They and their four children eventually settled in Red Wing, Minnesota. Dan became the industrial engineer for the Jostens plant, and Bobbe began a life-long commitment to volunteering in the community. She helped with a multitude of activities, including working on the committee to renovate the Red Wing YMCA building, after school tutoring of children, and many other... Her last days were filled with hymns and scripture readings with family. She was born on June 5, 1929 in Minneapolis, MN. Lois grew up in Northeast Minneapolis, graduating from Edison High School. She married Donald B. Johnson on December 6, 1951, and they had five children. The Johnson family enjoyed camping, fishing, nature, card games, music and mom's great cooking. When Lois was not busy taking care of her family, she enjoyed sewing, knitting, crocheting, gardening, reading poetry and playing piano.
