Wanamingo Neil Allen Gullickson 1954 — 2024 Neil Allen Gullickson, 69, of Wanamingo, passed away at his home on Thursday, January 4, 2024. He was born in Zumbrota on August 31, 1954, to Wilbur and Inez (Reierson) Gullickson. He graduated from Wanamingo High School in 1973. He worked at Maple Island for many years, in addition to the City of Wanamingo and the City of Cannon Falls in maintenance. Most recently, he drove truck for the Ag Partners Soil Center in Wanamingo. Neil was a lifelong member of Wanamingo Lutheran Church. He loved to be social and never met a stranger in his life. He enjoyed visiting with his neighbors and friends around town. He had a knack for fixing things and restored a 1967 Ford Falcon. He loved classic cars... He was born in Yauco, Puerto Rico on May 18, 1943, to William and Luz (Ramirez) Ellis. He graduated from high school in Crescent City, FL in 1962. He enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and served in the 12th Marine Regiment, 3rd Marine Division and was stationed in Vietnam from 1965-1967.
